Present in Cameroon since 1980, it intervenes alone or in partnership by relying in particular on the technical strength of the other companies of the Egis Group to expand its field of competence.

Description of the mission

As part of the control of the rehabilitation works of the penetrating EST of the city of Douala,

We are looking for a road engineer or VRD who will perform the following missions:

·         Produce technical deliverables as part of the realization of projects (studies, notes, plans, reports);   

·         Feed the monitoring dashboards and report regularly by identifying the risks incurred and propose solutions;

  Ensure relations with clients, architects, control offices, subcontractors, state bodies, etc.;

·         Supervise the other members of the production team for which he is responsible;

·         Facilitate site meetings;

·         Participate in the drafting of offers;

·         Ensure the management of the project on the aspects of planning, cost, quality, interface management, document management... under the responsibility of a project manager/director;

Assist the person in charge of the works;

·         Proceed with the installation of the systems by integrating all the interfaces with the other stakeholders;

·         Participate in cost control and schedule monitoring;

·         Instruct technical adaptations/modifications;

·         Research throughout the project innovative technical solutions that reduce costs and

deadlines and guaranteeing compliance with the technical quality and functionalities of the works/systems;

·         Propose corrective actions to meet contractual deadlines;

Profile

Profile sought:

- You have more than ten years of professional experience in the conduct of Civil Engineering works operations, and in particular in the field of various roads and networks.

- You have participated in at least two missions in road works control including at least one mission as a VRD engineer

- Civil Engineering Engineer or Rural Engineering: Graduate Engineer (bac + 5 or equivalent)

- Type of CDC contract;

- Duration of the contract 13 months;

- Likely start date: September 2022
