Job description:  SOTREAS, a tomato processing and marketing company based in Maroua, Cameroon is looking for an accountant for its business.


Tasks 

Enter daily cash statements; 

Carry out transfer operations for the Cameroon site and those of the Congo; 

Carry out cash withdrawal operations to supply the cash register;

 Make the general control of the cash account and the reconciliation of the cash; 

Buy office supplies and consumables; 

Establish the operating account;

Prepare accounting documents at the end of the year (Balance, Financial statements, Balance sheet, etc.). 

Produce daily cash reports; 

Produce a monthly income statement reconciliation report; 

Transmit information for monthly tax returns.

Required Skills 

Hold a bachelor's degree + 5 in finance and accounting 

Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position 

Proficiency in accounting software

 Appreciation for numbers, their handling and processing 

Have a sense of confidentiality and rigor 

Have a sense of ethics and honesty

Know how to communicate 

Have a sense of organization

Composition of the application file: motivation letter and well detailed CV
