The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC) is recruiting a Medical and Health Technical Agent for service needs.

Position: Medical-sanitary technical agent
Status: Category 7/A, full-time, fixed-term contract for two (02) years, including a 3-month trial period.
Location: Cameroon Pasteur Center (CPC), Yaoundé, Medical Department, Bacteriology-ParasitologyMycology Department.

Main activities :

•  Preparation of culture media, o Prepare all types of culture media, o Prepare chemical dye solutions, o Ensure the maintenance of laboratory equipment, o Ensure the management of stocks of reagents and consumables, o Ensure orders,
•  Welcome, inform and guide patients,
•  Return test results to patients,
•  Perform blood, urogenital and miscellaneous samples at the CPC or at other external sites;

Required profile : 

 

• Medical-sanitary technical agent:
•  Master the techniques of preparation of culture media,
•  Master sampling techniques,
•  Know and apply the rules of safety and hygiene,
•  Master the Microsoft Office package and the use of the Internet.

Required qualities :

• Ability to work in a team and to be very reactive, dynamism, thoroughness, and rigor in the work,  
• Sense of human relations, diplomacy and self-control, diligence, punctuality and availability, Honesty, discretion and rigor.

Application files (CV + Cover letter + Copies of diplomas) must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Director General of the Pasteur Center of Cameroon (Yaoundé), in a sealed envelope with the mention “ATMS Recruitment” no later than September 02, 2022 .

The choice of the candidate will first include a selection and finally an interview before a jury.
