The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC), is recruiting a pathologist doctor for service.
Position : Medical pathologist
Status : Category 12/B, full-time, fixed-term contract for two (02) years, including a trial period of 4 months.
Venue : Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC), Yaoundé.
The Cameroon Pasteur Center is a public health and reference laboratory. The activity of medical analyzes is carried out there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the benefit of the populations for the following disciplines of medical biology: pathological anatomy and cytology, Bacteriology-Parasitology-Mycology, Biochemistry, Hematology, Mycobacteriology. Serology and Virology analyzes are accredited to the ISO 15189 standard.
All laboratory analysis activities are computerized, from the registration of requests to the validation of results.
MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE POST
The pathologist is the guarantor of the quality of the results returned, for which he ensures the interpretation and validation within the time limits compatible with patient care. To do this,
He implements and leads quality management for the discipline for which he is responsible;
He defines and implements the analysis methods and ensures their verification and validation,
He supervises the technical staff for whom he defines the distribution of tasks, job descriptions and carries out continuous training and annual evaluations.
He ensures compliance with internal regulations, rules of hygiene, safety and confidentiality;
He participates in training, research and public health activities within the CPC.
PROFILE
Pathologist with at least 2 years of experience.
Skills required:
Abilities : Have a good knowledge of IT tools, be able to lead a team, be endowed with a forward-looking, motivated and enthusiastic spirit, have a concern for performance, have good interpersonal skills and be of great probity.
Have proven professional knowledge.
