COMPUTER TECHNICIAN (BAC+3) JGME Consulting Douala

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic IT Specialist to work on our IT projects (internal and external), optimize the company's IT system, monitor our IT equipment and assist users in the use of the IT resources made available to them.

This person will have to quickly develop (with the support of the company) the skills and pass the necessary certification exams allowing him to support the implementation of our IT solutions internally and at our customers as well as to provide consulting services. and related support.

Responsibilities

Development, deployment and configuration of IT solutions.
Development, updating, and maintenance of websites.
Technical and technological advice and assistance.
Ensure the follow-up of the computer park, participate in the optimization of the information system of the company and assist the users in the exploitation of the computer resources made available to them.
Participate in trade shows and networking events and strengthen the presence of JGME Consulting.
Areas of expertise
Development of websites
Master the development, test and production environments under GitHub
Master programming languages: C#, Java, Python.
Master databases: MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
Master analysis and design methods: UML.
Master the development stages of an application.
Understand application security.
Master the different types of application testing.
Project management .
Configuration and deployment of IT solutions (Odoo, Active Directory ... etc.).
Qualifications
Minimum Bac +3 in computer science or a related field.
Ability to set goals, plan, execute and measure results.
Proven ability to sell to business decision makers/managers or individuals in management/executive positions.
Proven ability to build new relationships with executives/leaders/management teams.
Demonstrated ability to conclude agreements/contracts/sales of IT services/solutions.
Fluent in English and French.
Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
Ability to think strategically and “outside the box”.
