1. Presentation of EUROBIOPARK
Created by the University of Rome Tor Vergata, EUROBIOPARK launched its activities at the end of the 1990s, with the mission of transferring technology in the field of biomedicine, between Italy and developing countries. Its main funding comes from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE). Eurobiopark was established in Cameroon in 2021, and currently has the status of a foreign organization.
As part of its mission, Eurobiopark strives to connect members of the university community, scientific research companies, researchers and scientists mainly from central/southern Italy and the host country to work on the development , the implementation and administration of scientific and technological projects of national and/or international scope and utility.
Eurobiopark's activities include, among others, research, technology transfer and human resources training. In addition, Eurobiopark brings substantial benefits in the areas of drug testing and development and diagnostic kits. EUROBIOPARK strengthens the Italian presence in many research projects across Europe, sharing industrial properties and innovative know-how with a positive impact on financial markets. Long-term goals are geared toward today's youth for innovative education and the expansion of popular science for public and private entities.
As part of the inter-municipal partnership project between the town hall of Vasanello and the town halls of the Department of Menoua for a response to the emergence of COVID19, the Eurobiopark Cameroon headquarters based in Dschang (SYCOME headquarters) is looking for various profiles to constitute its work teams.
2. General information on the position
The expert in international and national relations will be located in Cameroon, mainly in the city of Yaoundé, due to the presence of the main state institutions and international organizations in the city.
He/she will carry out missions in the department of Menoua as part of the activities, according to his specifications.
The expert in international and national relations will have as main mission to ensure the compliance of the various documents with national standards and regulations, but also with the objectives of Eurobiopark and other Italian and/or foreign partners.
The expert in international and national relations serves as a relay between the various actors involved in the project.

3. Missions and activities
Operations aspect
• Ensuring the conformity and timeliness of project activities with the priorities of the State
• Ensuring that the project is in line with the objectives of the Italian partners
• Setting up correspondence and various documents to be sent to the administration and ensure follow-up
• Ensure that the permits and/or authorizations relating to/necessary for the activities are obtained
• Regularly take stock with the administration of the project and the Italian partners on the progress of the project e Work to promote the project and initiatives of Eurobiopark with the institutions, the administration and civil society.
Documentation and budget
e Define and ensure the production, availability and preservation in the physical and digital archives of the project of the various documents to be provided in the context of obtaining the various authorizations
• Inquire and inform the administration of the project on the costs of the various operations carried out within the framework of the missions related to the position.
4.Candidates must have skills in the field of international relations, public relations, preferably a Master's degree (or equivalent diploma as recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Cameroon) in one of the above-mentioned specialties.
Proven experience with the Cameroonian central administration and decentralized territorial communities is also necessary.

5. Application procedures
The position is open to anyone of Cameroonian nationality. Applications from women and young people are strongly encouraged.
Duration of the contract: 20 months.
Remuneration (depending on the monthly exchange rate): 650 euro gross.
