JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

Nkwa Tech is a growing start-up looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to perform various administrative and clerical tasks efficiently. The administrative Assistant supports the company’s manager, assists in everyday office needs and manages the company’s general administrative activities.

To be successful as an administrative assistant, candidates should be willing to meet each challenge directly. Administrative assistants must be comfortable with computers, and general office tasks, and excel at verbal and written communication. Most importantly, administrative assistants should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

 

   RESPONSIBILITIES

 

? Plan meetings and take detailed minutes

? Manage communication including emails and phone calls

? Develop and maintain a filing system

? Use the computer to generate reports, transcribe meeting minutes, and create presentations.

? Manage the Employer's calendar

? Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office

? Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings and travel arrangements for the Manager.


Provide assistance with other administrative and clerical duties, including scanning, mailing, and copying to management.


 Respond to inquiries for all kinds of information related to the organization.

? Run various errands for the Manager

? Perform other tasks as assigned by hierarchy

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

? Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

? Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

? Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

? Knowledge of computer software Applications

? Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

? Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office

? Strong oral and written communication skills

? Comfortable with routinely shifting demands

? A high degree of attention to detail

? Working knowledge of general office equipment

Short-listed candidates will be interviewed between September 13  and  September 14, 2022.
