Missions

Societe Generale Cameroon is looking for a General Services Manager for the General Resources Department.

For this Category 10 position based in Douala, the incumbent will have the following missions:

- Ensure the expertise and evaluation of buildings and leases at the request of the Commercial Departments, in liaison with the Risk Department, either or through the channel of a real estate expert with an approval and appearing in the list of experts approved by SEGL/JUR

- Toensure the management of mail, in particular the quality of the receipt of mail and its distribution in all services as well as the dispatch of mail, in liaison with all the services of the bank and external service providers, according to the rules of security and safeguarding of the interests of the bank

- Toensure the processing of invoices received by optimizing the use of tools dedicated to this operation; toensure with the administrations and bodies constituted, the administrative formalities aimed at obtaining visas, residence cards, certification of documents

Main activities

Expertise, valuation of buildings acquired or taken as collateral

  • Evaluate and appraise the properties to be taken as collateral by SGCAM, to be acquired by auction according to the rules of the art and in liaison with the Risk Department, the Enterprise Sales Department or the Individual Sales Department.
  • Have an expert approved by SGCAM evaluated and appraised, when the value of the building is presumed to be higher than the chosen threshold (currently FCFA 100 Ms), the buildings to be taken as collateral by SGCAM, to be acquired by auction according to the rules of the art and in liaison with the Risk Department, the Corporate Sales Department or the Individual Sales Department.
  • Vissue to the cadastre and the town hall the documents attesting to the ownership of the buildings

   

Mail and service provider management

  • Ensure the reception and reception of customers
  • Ensure the receipt and sending of envelopes and parcels
  • Coordinate the activity of the service providers in charge of mail delivery
  • Clear all folds

   

Invoice management and tracking

  • Ensure receipt and recording of invoices

   

Management of relations with the Public Administration

  • Process expatriate residence card files, visa applications, deposit signatures in police stations and legalization of various documents
  • Follow the documents to be renewed and anticipate the constitution of the files concerned to reduce the waiting time

Profile

DIPLOMA: Engineer or Minimum Bacc+4/5 in Law, Management Sciences or related disciplines

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum five years of professional experience in the field

- A real estate expertise justified by an approval would be an asset
