For our National Program Office in Cameroon, we are looking for an Intern Administrative Assistant, dynamic and committed, passionate about planning and organization management, business management, calendar keeping, and with a passion for networking. This position is perfect for an individual looking to join a well-known international conservation organization and establish a reliable bridge to build their career.
Location: Yaoundé Duration: 03 months
Primary
responsibilities a) Administration
• Establishes priorities, organizes, manages and schedules calls, meetings and appointments on behalf of the Director and Manager, including effective priority setting and resolution of related conflicts and competing demands;
• Organizes technical meetings on behalf of the Director or Manager, drafts minutes of meetings, as required;
• Drafts and/or finalizes correspondence on a range of topics on behalf of the Director/Manager;
• Regularly participates in the transmission, processing and handling of sensitive, diverse and confidential information;
• Drafts enquiries, reports and documents as required.
• Maintain filing and archiving systems;
• Plan the trip of the Director of Conservation of the Congo Basin and the Financial Manager of the Landscape of TRIDOM and ensure it;
• efficient logistics (flights, visas, travel advance, travel request, invitation letters, hotels, etc.). etc.) are up to date;
• Effectively provide general research support and use all relevant computer software to retrieve, maintain and manipulate datais as needed.
(b) Coordination
• Respond independently to extensive and diverse requests for information;
• Facilitate information sharing and learning lessons within WWF Congo Basin countries by providing:
• regular updates for internal communication tools (calendar of meetings and events; travel and leave updates;
• database of contacts, directories;
(c) Perform any other duties as requested by the Department.
Profile
Qualifications Required
• University degree in administration or equivalent in a related field;
• Minimum 01 years of experience as an assistant in a management function, preferably in an international organization/company.
